Our Wines

 

Our beautiful tasting room is open 7 days per week during the summer and fall seasons. We offer a full list tasting with crackers for $4.00, four tastings for $2.00 or two tastings for $1.00. Enjoy a delicious cheese, cracker and olive plate for $7.00 (as available). Or enjoy our relaxing deck seating with a full glass or bottle of one of our wines. 

Try our wines, then we’ll direct you to other known and not-so-well-known wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula. Each winery offers different wines to try and stories to tell.

 

'09 Chardonnay

Tasting Notes: Our '09 Chardonnay is light and refreshing with vanilla notes. It has been aged for 7 months in French oak. Best paired with shellfish, cream sauces, pork, poultry and strong cheeses.  $13.00

 

'09 Reserve Chardonnay

Tasting Notes: We are happy to share our first vintage of estate grown Chardonnay. It has been oak mellowed for 18 months in French oak giving a buttery finish. Enjoy!  $15.00

 

 

 ’09 Pinot Gris

Tasting Notes: Fresh, fruity, light and easy to drink; blended with 2% of our '09 Chardonnay for a smoother finish. Foods that boost a bit more acidity tend to bring out the best in a Pinot Gris. Consider entrees with tomato sauce, roasted or sauteed poultry or pork and even dishes with nuts.  $14.00

 

 ’09 Riesling

Tasting Notes: Dry white wine with 1.11% residual sugar. Clean, crisp, soft and supple with perfect acid and 12.9% alcohol. Characterized by fruit-forward floral aromas and rich full-bodied citrus flavors. This is an elegant full flavored wine making it ideal on its own or when paired with spicier dishes or Great Lakes seafood.  $14.00

 

'10 Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes: Our International multi-award winning Pinot Noir is a medium bodied, dry, red wine aged in French oak for 12 months. Perfect on its own or when served with pasta, grilled mea, salmon or poultry. - $17.95

 

 

 

Purple Foot

Tasting Notes: Purple Foot is our red table wine, a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a touch of Lemberger. This is a dry, full-bodied red wine with deep rich flavors aged in a combination of American and French oak that's sure to please. Serve at room temperature. Pair with grilled meats such as steak, lamb or roast beef or perhaps a grilled portabella.  $16.95

 

 

Purple Passion

Tasting Notes: Our last year's "House Red" blended with 20% of our award winning "Chafia Cherry" wine. If you are a timid red wine taster this wine will convert you. Serve at room temperature or chilled as sangria.  $15.00

 

 

 Chafia Cherry

Tasting Notes: Our Gold Medal winner is a true cherry wine with a bright mouth feel and a "not too sweet" taste. We named this wine after what we affectionately refer to as the “Cherry Mafia” of Leelanau County, our good neighbors and friends. Chafia Cherry is made from 65% Balaton and 35% Montmorency cherries. This wine has a balanced acidity and an alcohol content of 10%. Enjoy with appetizers, chocolate or as an after dinner drink.  $13.00

 

Eve

Tasting Notes: This is an apple dessert wine made from fresh apples from our neighbor's orchards. With an alcohol content of 18% this wine is meant for sipping between courses, as an after dinner or dessert wine. It was made with the spirit of “Calvados” in mind, which is a French made, apple brandy that is distilled to 40% alcohol.  $25.00
