Suttons Bay Summer Solstice Art Walk 2011

The Suttons Bay Art Walk returns this summer on Friday, June 24th! This annual event features the galleries & shops in the Village of Suttons Bay. Each gallery and shop partners with the Leelanau wineries for a perfect summer evening. From 5-9pm each gallery and shop will host an artist and their work, along with wine tasting and hors d'oeuvres. You can also enjoy live music up and down the street!

We will be serving our wine at the Treeline Gallery (located at 103 E. Jefferson St). Artist Jane Everhart will be their featured artist. Jane's artwork features gorgeous landscapes from the midwest, including Leelanau County! Where does Jane get her inspiration from? She says, "It is very real Michigan trees and fields and time of day and season that I get a charge from and try to translate, somehow, with charge." "Leelanau Spring" by Jane Everhart

Don't miss out on this fun event. What better way is there to celebrate the summer season than with art and wine in beautiful Suttons Bay?
