‘08 Chardonnay

The Chardonnay grape takes on an immense array of flavors.  Tastes can include apple, pear,  pineapple and grapefruit. Best paired with shellfish, cream sauces, pork, poultry and strong cheeses.  13.

  

‘08 Riesling

Dry white wine with 1% residual sugar, concentrate or sugar added back. Clean, crisp, soft and supple with moderate acid and 12% alcohol.  Characterized by fruit-forward floral aromas and rich full-bodied citrus flavors with a fresh off dry finish. Riesling is a full flavored, elegant wine making it ideal on its own or when paired with foods. We recommend serving this wine with salmon or any spicy Asian cuisine, summer salads, fresh fruit or as an aperitif.  11.

 

‘08  Semi Dry Riesling

 From the same vintage as the Riesling described above with 3% residual sugar, slightly sweeter with the same acidity and same alcohol content. Pairs well with Asian food, mild cheeses, salads, poultry and pork.  Serve chilled in the summer while
at the beach or in a boat.  11.

  

Purple Foot

 Big, bold red wine with deep rich flavors. Serve at room temperature and pair with
grilled meat such as steak or lamb or  roast beef or perhaps a grilled portabella.  16.

  

Chafia Cherry

We couldn’t help but name this wine after what we affectionately refer to as the
“Cherry Mafia” of Leelanau County, our good neighbors and  friends who do so much bring us this fine fruit. Chafia Cherry is made from 65% Balaton and 35%
Montmorency cherries and pressed with the pits for a hint of almond flavor.  This
wine has not been ameliorated with water, rather the alcohol content has been maintained at 10% with balanced acidity.  Our Gold Medal winner is a true cherry wine with a bright mouth feel and a “not too sweet” taste. Enjoy with chocolate or as an
 after dinner drink or
with your favorite  ice cream.  11.
